The
CHRISTOPHER DODGE HOUSE INN - circa 1858, is a stunning four
level brick Italianate mansion, recently renovated and converted
to a 14 room Bed and Breakfast inn. This 1858 architectural gem
features 11-foot ceilings, ornate plaster moldings and many
original tin ceilings. Each spacious room has a working gas
fireplace or stove, providing ideal ambiance for getaways. Chef
prepared breakfasts are served in our dining room.
The Christopher Dodge
House has been awarded a Three Diamond AAA rating, received
the Yankee Magazine "Editors' Choice" designation, and is on the
National Historic Register.
The inn is located close to Brown
University, Johnson & Wales University, Providence College, and
Rhode Island School of Design - RISD. We are also within walking
distance to Providence Place Mall, the State Capitol, Amtrak
station, the Convention Center, IMAX Theater, and, our famous
WaterFire. There is so much to see and do in Rhode Island
including enjoying a wide variety of centrally located fine
dining restaurants nestled among your choice of activities. Day
trips to glorious Newport, a beach outing, or experiencing
Boston's famous Newbury Street shopping and China Town are all
within a short driving distance from the inns.
